Printmaking artist and educator

Currently based out of Kansas City, MO

Ani is the director of the Print League of Kansas City, a community print shop devoted to providing space for print artists and engaging in the dialogue of printmaking through workshops and exhibitions. She also teaches printmaking at the Kansas City Art Institute, Art Appreciation & Drawing at Kansas City Kansas Community College, and screen printing at Metropolitan Community College.

She received her BFA in Painting in 2007 from Birmingham-Southern College, and her MFA in Printmaking in 2010 from East Tennessee State University. She deals in text, textile, sewing, old family photographs, and everything printmaking. Her work currently deals with Armenian folklore and storytelling as way to connect with her Armenian history and heritage.
